Final of the competitive debate "Buon Don youth voice up for Dak Lak elephants"

FINAL OF THE COMPETITIVE DEBATE "BUON DON YOUTH VOICE UP FOR DAK LAK ELEPHANTS"

January 9, 2023, on the occasion of Vietnamese students' day, The Yok Don National Park Environmental Education Center, in collaboration with Animals Asia (AAF) and Buon Don High School, organized the final round of the debate contest "Buon Don youth voice up for Dak Lak elephants" at Buon Don High School.

Overcame 23 teams; at the final competition were four teams: Team Elephant Protector, Team Green-E, Team Elephant Is Friend, and Team Baby Elephant. The cheering and questioning of more than 3,000 students from grades 10-12 of Buon Don High School are supported for the final.

The first prize belonged to Team Elephant Protector from class 10A9. The contest to motivate students to actively learn and act for local social issues related to biodiversity conservation and animal welfare, especially captived elephants in Dak Lak; At the same time, creating a playground for students to exchange, learn, and soft practice skills such as debate, cultivate critical thinking; Thereby promoting students' talents and cultivating their love for animals and biodiversity protection and nature conservation.
